haus divided makes objects for homes that are lived in.

we believe a home shouldn't be finished. it should be collected - slowly, imperfectly, over a lifetime.

haus divided is designed in chicago and made with specialists around the world.
we choose our makers for what they know how to do exceptionally well - jacquard textiles in portugal, hand-blown glass and ceramics from independent studios, objects shaped by techniques particular to the places they come from.
where something is made isn't a footnote. it's part of the object.
